About Christ Episcopal Church

Christ Church is an Episcopal church in the Diocese of Bethlehem. We are conveniently located in downtown Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and our parishioners come from near and far: from Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, and the surrounding communities within Monroe County, as well as from communities in the states of New Jersey and New York. In-Person services are on Wednesdays at 12:05pm and Sundays at 8 am and 10:00 am. We offer Livestream worship coverage of our 10:00 AM service via our website and through Facebook at CEC Stroudsburg Live.
We live out our mission statement by serving those within our church community as well as those in the wider communities of Monroe County, Northeast Pennsylvania and the world
We are a parish in the Diocese of Bethlehem and, as a member of the Episcopal Church of the United States, are also part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. The Episcopal Church is Protestant, yet Catholic: holding too many of the ancient traditions and liturgies of the church while also recognizing the need for reforms when prompted by the Holy Spirit.
Our principal form of worship is the Holy Eucharist, the sacrament instituted by Jesus Christ in which he promises he is present with us.
